As a graduating student, I find it hard to choose what career I want to take. And as a graduating student, I want to end the school year with the path I have specifically chosen for myself.

When I was a kid, I used to have a lot of dream careers in life. It varies—from being a model, fashion designer, pastry chef, business owner, architect, or interior designer—out of these careers, at this moment, I had none of it in mind. So I told myself to leave it to fate. I asked for signs regarding the path I would take in college. And out of all those signs, it leads to one job—medicine courses.
I once asked my mom if it was really her dream to be a teacher when she was younger. She told me that it was not. When she was younger, she wanted to take nursing as her course. However, because of financial problems, she chose Education, a Major in Biology. She told me that it must have been nice to have both clinic and a pharmacy, just like someone she knew from her past job.
Right now, I am taking care of my grandma. I made sure she took her medicine from morning until nighttime. I also began to memorize the tablets she had to take and their names before I knew it. And out of nowhere, at night, I begin to ask myself if I would enjoy being a pharmacist.
Through these big signs, I arrived at that one conclusion—that perhaps I should take pharmacy as my college course. Right now, I am a graduating student. In my 18 years of existence, I hope that the path and choice I will choose will be something I would not want to regret choosing. And I do hope that this is the right choice for me.
Wherever this choice brings me, I hope it's a choice I will be proud of in the future.
